David is a fully qualified PGA Professional working at BSGC Academy. With over 20 years of experience in the golfing industry.
Having turned professional in 2010 playing off of a handicap of +3, he is now a full time coach.
David has played on various mini tours picking up wins at Notts Hollinwell and the London Club. He is currently playing in the PGA East region and in pro am’s.
Before turning professional he competed all over the country in the top amateur events where he gained valuable experience and knowledge on the skills needed to play all types of golf course in pressure situations. He was lucky enough to compete at some of the top golf courses in the uk ranging from Royal St Georges in the South, to Royal Lytham & St Annes in the North.
As a player he was lucky enough to work with some great coaches from all round the world, learning and gaining knowledge all the time. All these experiences have helped with his own coaching.
His love of coaching golfers of all levels from complete beginners to low handicappers has driven great success, helping his players achieve their golfing goals and increase their love of the game.
A fully qualified Customer Fitter and product specialist means he can not only make sure you are getting the most out of your swing, but also that your equipment isn’t holding you back.
Always looking to increase his knowledge, he is fully certified in Golf Ground Mechanics with BODITRAK. The Boditrak pressure mat can be seen being used in many of his lessons as a great tool to help with the learning process
